About the Artist

I began painting abstracts as part of a personal journey of joy & discovery. I have fallen in love with the process. For me, painting is a release, it unlocks creativity from deep inside of me and brings me peace. It is a joy to share that creativity with others.

Artist Bio

Stefanie is a lover of the Arts. She was painting with her Grandmother by the age of four, was a docent in an art museum when thirteen and holds a BFA in Theatre/Performance. She recently began painting abstracts. She says, ‘It’s a release of color, emotion and creativity that comes from deep inside of me. It brings me peace and joy to share creativity with others,’ When she’s not painting she can be found in a theatre and/or surrounded by children or serving in the community. Each of her paintings has a quote attached to it, communicating the unspoken beauty. (Commission works available upon request)

I am free.

Some people excel expressing their emotions with words; I express mine better with paint.

Thomas Merton said, “Art enables us to lose ourselves and find ourselves at the same time.” That’s the essence of what painting does for me.
